I went through the same transition, and it does take time to adjust. What helped me was focusing on active listening and asking open-ended questions to understand clients' needs better. Instead of pushing for a sale, I started positioning myself as a trusted advisor. Regular check-ins and being genuinely interested in their success can go a long way in building lasting relationships.
One strategy I found effective is setting clear expectations from the get-go. Be transparent about what clients can expect and deliver consistently.
