I have my last working day at IBM GBS in the month of july. Wanted to ask what documents should I carry to the office for asset return, what documents I will receive on my last working day and which ones I will receive after my lwd? Any action item to be done before my lwd apart from returning id badge and laptop ? IBM

Music is definitely something. Movies and old tv shows too.
This can sound a bit standard, but walking around or going to a exhibition helps me a lot. Pinterest and instagram help in the daily inspiration as well.
But above all, I try to stay educated to what is fresh in advertising award shows. This was something I’ve done since I started. Helped me to stay sharp to know how the more experienced colleagues in this industry were thinking and what I could do to impress.
Definitely the people I have worked with and admired along the way. I learned a ton from my peers' work and the process we all went through. Good and bad.
Music videos were my first introduction to the idea of a concept. You know, way back when MTV played videos. The weirder and more alternative, the better.
Like way back in the day? It was a combination of always noticing ads as a kid—quoting from them, singing jingles—and then some movies and shows where the characters (usually Tom Hanks—Bosom Buddies and Nothing in Common) worked in advertising and it looked SO FUN.
It seemed to be a way to write for an actual living, and make something people loved.
Advertising annuals with work from the greats, TV, movies, videos, digital.
Comedy. I rec. Dr Katz. Lots of great riffs on that show.
Mentors taking a genuine interest in me, my talents, and giving me opportunities to flex them, grow them, and share them.
