Although condos are bad investments, the new condo building I visited is ~80% sold out a year before completion. Location is MCOL. The price per sqft is ~3x that of SFH’s and HOA is ~$500 to $1k+.

I’d be curious about such buyers; is it just people rich enough to not care about the investment side of things or the monthly drag of HOA? There are similar apartments that can be had for a lot cheaper than buying.

What's the protocol for adding internal portal mockups for a client to your portfolio? Is it expected, something that requires asking permission but is still generally OK, or frowned upon? I'm a developer trying to pivot to UX.

Nothing in the contract bc our SOW was originally dev only. If I need permission, I have a good rapport with the Corp Comm director and VP so would I contact them on LinkedIn, or is this something that's normally done through the employer?

I'm under contract for a new build in progress that won't be done until much later this year. I fully expect interest rates will be higher than what I originally estimated. Went into a multi family property 50/50 with a relative against my gut. Things are going horrible. Need to get out. Best options? Buy him out?
