Amex people thoughts on this offer, as I have recently(4 months back) joined a startup with Base(33) and CTC(35.5) but not enjoying the work here. Amex brand tag and culture is good.
Hence, considering the offer, does this offer look good or is there any scope of improvement? Amex American Express

Has anyone left PwC while they still had an outstanding Educational Support Program repayment agreement? What is the repayment process like? Am I required to pay back the amount in full the day I leave the firm or is there the ability to do a repayment agreement? I’m looking at new opportunities and would like to have my new firm take on the amount of the tuition agreement ($14,000) but don’t know how much that might limit my options.

How many years of experience?
For a brand new senior 2-3 years out of college sounds about right, maybe a little low. But if you’re a heavy senior 5+ YoE it’s definitely low
Yes. Audit Senior 3 years total in NYC making 74k. Advisory should be much more
S2-S3 should be making around 90-105k in NYC
Yes though don’t know that a “top 10” consulting firm means
So if towards the lower end then maybe not. First year senior in b4 is going to be more but not every consulting group starts near 100
Came to the firm right out of school, I'm between 4 to 5 years total; give or take about a year or year and a half as senior.
I think what throws it off is a lot of firms/people use consulting and advisory interchangeably and salaries for each of those differ by a large margin.
That is true - they’re used interchangeably but generally accepted that advisory will pay < consulting...
But assuming you’re in advisory at a mid-tier, I think it sounds a little low? Not by a massive amount but at 4-5 years you should be a heavy senior and I would think 80-90 base in HCOL?
D1 - only 90k as an experienced SC? I was making $140k a SC in tech advisory at D, I think our numbers are low.
Assuming any promotion to manager comes with a set raise percent (which would still leave me under paid), is it possible to negotiate salary, or, is that only really something you do at initial hire.
A friend of mine brought in a mentor on his compensation discussion. The mentor went to bat for him with the partners because he was being criminally underpaid after moving from audit to consulting within the same firm.
