An old colleague who I care about but don’t see much, once gave me a sweater she had been having a hard time letting go of because it had belonged to her mother who had passed. She offered it to me because it’s my style. The problem with it, is that it is huge, doesn’t fit super well, and is season specific. I live in a tiny space, and I really want to donate it (or throw it away so she couldn’t possibly see it in a thrift store)…I need someone to tell me it’s okay to not keep it. Is it?

I’m struggling with an issue with a student right now. I teach in a suburban school outside of NYC that has a very large majority of white students. One of my Black students was recently involved in a biased incident with another student in which he received racist social media messages and racist spoken words from the other student. This was a kid that my Black student thought was his friend. He’s heartbroken, and so am I. I want to know how I can best support my student.

What is the impact on rating and overall, if I have got all snapshots good but for one snapshot its like at level for 4 parameters and 1 parameter partially demonstrated at level and have got a development action on that. Got an offer for SE III at a large tech company. Product I'd be working on interests me and I think I could grow more than in my current role.

Currently I make 180k base and have ISO/RSUs @ startup (60k/yr worth on paper, but won't be worth anything for a few years, if at all).

The offer is:
Base: $166,500
Target Bonus: 10% ($16,650)
RSU: 120k total (30k/yr)

Thoughts on offer? Should I counter?

Additionally there's a yearly target RSU bonus about equal to the cash bonus. Thoughts? 4.5 YOE
