Hi Guys,
I have been assigned to a Unbillable Project, they are building one app and have recruited people from the talent pool. The project is not registered in GLOW. And they are calling it as Voluntary Contribution type project for studio. Is this what they call Internal Project in Globant?
Will there be any impact if I don't perform as per their expectations?
Will it be of any benefit to me if work in voluntary project? Will HR recognize this project contribution as valid work?

I take it as a good sign when executive leadership shows that much interest where others normally wouldn't. Shows me that they're engaged and interested in knowing who works for them. Also makes it easier and more comfortable for me if I ever have to work with them directly in the future. It may feel extra but it makes things also feel a bit more intimate and I've found places where this is the norm generally have a less toxic work environment with management that's actually willing to listen.
Only once, but it was for a relatively small company so it kind of made sense at the time that they would still be involved in the hiring process to some extent. Never at a large org, though, that does seem a bit out of the ordinary. Is this something that already happened to you or that you have scheduled for the future?

Multiple ppl industry side have said it shows lack of trust form executive board for their managing teams… and could be a flag for micromanaging and general toxic culture. Just want some perspectives from others :)
It’s a big red flag for me. Did you have all of those interviews yet? If not, I would ask some business-related questions to flex.
I don't think a CD role is ever "simple". If you think that, you might be discounting your role. Like Assistant 1 said, I would say this is a good sign that execs actually care about filling this role.
Well I say simple because there is a ladder of CCD, CCO, CMO etc leading up to president and CEO. 3 layers and you can’t trust your managing team to make a decision?
