Should I complain to a firm's HR if the interviewers laughed at my answer during an interview? Maybe it sounded scripted but it was still heartfelt and genuine: my immigration story and how that made me appreciate the rule of law. My American citizen 8 month old is on tourist visa in India; current stay runs out on June 7. Flying outside the country is a risk we don’t want to take w/COVID. Don’t want to overstay the visa either. So we applied online on eFRRO to convert his visa to X-1 so we can apply for his OCI. They didn’t ask for payment and message popped up saying watch your text/email for next steps. Anything else I can do?

Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience. Understanding that the degreed person committed to school and finished, yet that doesn't diminish what the not degreed has committed to and accomplished in their careers. This has to stop!

I have 32k miles with THY that are about to expire. Normally I'd go ahead and book a flight, but I can't project which countries might be locked down again 5-6 months from now (haven't accrued enough PTO to travel in near future).
