Your comp is only based on performance from Aug through Dec so I’d actually consider this pretty strong for 33% of a year!
OP, not GSAP but this happened to me and I was told my raise was prorated based on my start date. The following year, it was much better.
You're AIP is already prorated. So 7.9% for 33% of a year means you would have been given 3 times that for a full year worked. So 23.7% is pretty good
So that means I worked for 10/12 months and my annual AIP was 9.48% 😭 like what?
Hoping this can make you slightly optimistic for future years - This is my second year back and got a pretty significant raise > 200k. But was in similar spot as you last year and was disappointed

I have heard in the past that GSAPers get lower compensation to "offset" the large tuition reimbursements in the first two years. Unconfirmed of course
Came back in Aug. 4.8% base pay increase and 7.9% AIP.
Exceptional in all but client (strong) only because I barely missed utilization due to trainings & holidays. My coach recommended I get Exceptional in client and was “extremely surprised” when I didn’t
