Good for you! I think it's great that you got the support you needed to overcome that feeling of abandonment.
I think it is excellent, and I do not doubt it. I also got a new family in the army. I hope many go through the same thing and that it helps them overcome the negative feelings.
The army is the best thing that can happen to us if we take it the right way. Many of our trainers focus on making us better men for a better country.
Walking with people who only want good for you, that is being part of the army, the lack of a father can be calmly resolved with the help of discipline and love that the military gives you.
The army was the best thing that could happen to me, after the death of my parents from covid, the only place where I found comfort was in the officers' school.
While I value and appreciate your experience, for some of those who have experienced abandonment, it may not be the best solution. Joining the military can actually aggravate those feelings of abandonment and make them worse.
I'm so happy that the military has been there for you as a support system. It's clear that they've helped you in ways that nobody else could.
