Cognizant Recently cognizant have changed their internet wfh allowance policy.we use to get 1800 per month as internet allowance without submitting any bills or transaction details. Now they changed the policy as we need to apply for icici/axis/hdfc credit card from there we need to make the transaction and reimburse the same. I am ok with everything but why i need to apply for credit card? How a company can force me to have a credit card? It will directly/indirectly alter the credit score right? Cogniza
Any ideas on the pay range for the US Regional Meetings Lead Amgen? I’ve been agency based for quite a long time. I have worked with Amgen previously, currently serving another pharma, but looking to make the leap to the client side. Trying to see if the pay would be worth it at this juncture.

I found it to be really bad. I wondered how they were able to get such big names to spend so much time preparing hours and hours of content. Then I watched them and realized, oh, they’re just asking these folks questions off camera, like “what’s your process” and then turning their off-the-cuff responses into “lessons.”
Honestly a pretty efficient content creation technique, but don’t go into it thinking they’re fully fleshed our lessons. At best, they’re parroting canned anecdotes from previous interviews / books / talks. And it shows.
Yeah. I got a free 1-year membership when I interviewed there. It’s cool to hear people dive into their passions, but as far as “teaching”, you can get better instructional videos free on YouTube.
Also it’s a subscription service. So you can’t just buy a class and call it a day. They want you locked in.
For the same amount (maybe a lil more) of money I'd check out some of second cities online courses. Real time feedback and an instructor you can interact with.
Well color me as someone who didn’t know about second city’s online classes.

Them are good. But some of them the celebrity is just killing time on camera and not teaching you anything. The David Sedaris when you mentioned it looks like he’s bringing his mom on, his sister on, and basically doing a talk show versus critiquing and explaining humor writing
Not sure about writing, but MIT has tons of free courses online that can be amazing for anyone looking for some good ol’ education ☺️ https://ocw.mit.edu/index.htm
