Deloitte experienced hires, who all received written offers and in process of visa/ onboarding, have you heard back anything about hiring freeze? Or recruiter asked you to delay joining date?
My visa got submitted couple of days back and waiting for decision. When I reached out to recruiter to give her an update and mentioned once there’s decision will discuss on the start date before putting my 2 weeks, she mentioned “Yes, we should talk before you put notice” - Am I overthinking? No hike like last year ?!
Hi Fishes, I have an interview with PwC AC in the coming week. My tech stack is Power BI, SQL, SSRS,SSIS and Tableau. YEO -4 Current CTC is 9 LPA. During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? - Salary Hike: 5%
- Bonus: 15%
- Experience: 10 Years
- Compensation revised from ₹26.2 LPA to ₹27.5 LPA
Mid-year promotion to Manager:
- Additional 10% salary hike
I am currently awaiting this year's compensation review. Based on my performance and contribution, I expect a Tier-1 rating, along with a 4% salary increase and a 12–14% bonus, despite maintaining an official utilization of over 115%.
One important lesson I have learned at PwC AC is this:
Never become emotionally attached to your work environment. Be self-aware, deliver what is expected of you, and focus on creating impact through your work. Promotions and recognition should be outcomes, not obsessions.
The moment you openly chase a promotion, there will always be people willing to leverage that ambition by pushing you to work longer hours and take on more than is sustainable.
Give your best to your project, create value for your clients, and continue investing time in your own interests, skills, and opportunities outside work. Building multiple avenues for growth and income often provides more control over your future than any promotion cycle ever can..
