Hey guys, I just found this group and I’m hoping for some guidance/advice! I’m hoping to get into one of the Big 4s or MBB and finally got a few referrals once joining FB. I am 29, have an MA in IOP, and 10 YEO. I have never worked for a non-Jewish company (despite trying pretty damn hard to get out) and I’m freaking out. I have no concept of normal professionalism, strategy for navigating the workplace and the real world in corporate USA,(cont. in comment)

How to be program manager?

What is the general consensus on online I/O psychology programs? I’m looking to pivot into HC consulting and am strongly considering USC’s online MAPP or Harvard Extension School’s I/O Psychology graduate program.

Any other first years out there worry that this virtual environment just won’t be able to teach them? I worry I’m not getting the same “plugged in” experience when I can’t knock on a door or walk into an office. Doesn’t help that my anxiety is heightened by feeling so isolated. The learning curve is high enough as is and I’m not sure I’ll ever learn enough virtually to be useful in big law...am I alone?!?

My role sr SQL developer I resigned the current job GOT ROLE in FICO child org as a solution integration consultant role -(AWS,PENTAHO ,SQL we will be using ) -offered CTC 25 fixed + 1L JB + 2.5 BONUS + 0.5 L WFH SETUP = total 29LPA if everything will go smoothly ( bonus vary with comp growth it can be between 1.8L to 2.5l .so final CTC will get down to 28LPA as well - Bangalore but WFH ).Current org retain with 25L +2 LP VARIABLE HYDERABAD COMPANY

Anyone else just sitting around waiting for the ax to drop? I'm a soon to be 2nd year corporate associate who has seen work completely dry up. My utilization held pretty steady around 50% immediately after shutdown, but August was below 15 billables with no appreciable work in the pipeline. 10 years in the company where I started, working my way up from jr. analyst to present Manager M2 - Market and Tech Insights (5 levels), handling 2 major global tech/consulting clients. Next level is Sr. Manager.

I'm at Kolkata. Started off with 1.8LPA, currently around 11LPA. BTech+MBA. Always get scores of 4 out of 5 (exceeds expectations) KRA YoY and pointless praises about how well I managed projects, yada yada. I get good work-life balance.
