PAL typically overlaps with experienced senior manager. With comp in the neighborhood of low $200’s.
My take as a former Slalomite... Learn more about what they want from you in that role. Practice lead can be a tough one as you are primarily charged with hiring and staffing a team of resources.
This can depend on the office and practice, but I was pretty surprised how numerous and fragmented the roles are at Slalom vs. the big firms. For me the practice roles were way too narrowly focused on capabilities and team utilization. Much happier back at a larger firm where I am industry and client focused AND making a lot more money.
Depends a lot on the office what they expect from a PAL. I’d guess total comp between 180 and 250ish.
One difference with Slalom is they dole out a quarterly bonus.
I’m personally making ~$220 all in as a relatively junior Sr manager at a bigger consultancy.
