Should I feel bad for feeling like my sister is not a good older sister in terms of a role model? I get that at a certain point in life you can’t look up to them as much anymore but I just feel like she has never helped me become a better person. Is this fair?

I am straight off the Mayflower white. Does applying look super tone-deaf? Is this an unofficial way of stating that they’re only considering non-white individuals for the role?

Working as CAL Manager with Accenture S&C India. Offered ~GBP 76.5K (fixed plus flexi) at Manager Grade by Deloitte London.

Prior to Accenture, I have already served as S&O Manager with Deloitte India for ~1.5 yrs - so this would be my second stint with Deloitte as Manager "again".

2 questions:
1. Should I ask for Senior Mgr (AD) grade - to which they have already said NO
2. Is GBP 76.5K sitting at the lower end of M grade in Deloitte UK? What should be a good expectation for the role

Differences between Big 4 FDD versus mid tier PA firms or HL/A&M/D&P? Big 4 typically gets the largest deals, Mid tier PA and HL/A&M/D&P doesn’t have offshore help, would these statements be accurate?
What else? Anyone have any specific insights that wouldn’t be found via the search button?

Has anyone left big 4 or other PA firms tax transaction service groups for industry (or know of anyone)? What was the role and salary bump, how are annual bonuses/raises in industry, what is a typical work week (hours) like? I don’t think I can take this always on just to stay afloat life much longer. For context I am considered a high performer, am near the top of the salary band at my level and have a great supporting network at Deloitte. It’s just not worth it to have zero personal life.
