Hi - I need a genuine suggestion. Is it a good move to switch to devops from Sales. I have spent 7 years into Sales after my btech in 2016. Now i feel I need to switch to IT and thinking over Devops to start with. My current Ctc is 8 lpa. If i start my career as devops engineer, how much can I expect a hike from current Ctc. PLZ help. Really need yo switch to IT.

Do you think it matters less if I have a poorer undergrad “GPA” if it’s a STEM degree from Oxford, UK, where we don’t get marked on a 4.0 scale?
For reference I got a low 3’s average across my degree but (a) Oxford have a notoriously harsh bell curve in my subject - although Adcom’s may not know that I will certainly point it out (b) I ended up coming top half of my year in the final year - which is the year that matters in the UK system (c) I got 770 in the GMAT

I love him and am lonely while distanced, but super happy with our relationship. I’m unsettled about the future and if we will be happy together in the future. I do not want to move to where he is located and he does not want to move here. He definitely wants kids, and I’m younger and more unsure. He’s a suburbs guy, and I want lavish city life.
