1st mahine mai hi work life balance k L***e lag gaye hai. Team members are attending calls at 10-11PM when they start working at 10. I was planning to say No to late night calls but the culture is already bad here and if I say no to it, I'll be the villian.

Am I being too judgmental? During the interview process I ask questions that help me identify culture. During my recent interview I directly asked “How would you describe your culture?”, and it was described as “work hard, play hard”. I expected a much more meaningful reply. Thoughts?

I interviewed for a strategy and ops role in last 2 weeks. Fast process, everyone was in a great rush to get it done. I think interviews went well overall. I am hopeful. The recruiter emails me the day after my last interview saying “We are making final decisions next week, so will have answers for you then. Talk soon.” After some slow interview processes with google in the past, this feels pretty efficient. Also any takes on the recruiters email? Generic? Or indication of positive news?

Made it to the final round of interview at a Branding Agency... I have to present a case study that shows my approach thru 'branding lens' - they gave me a slide deck with such minimal info and I have to present in a few days.
