Any tips on studying alongside work? I work 40 hours but it is quite relaxed, can finish early most days when done etc.
Want to get myself into a routine, but would love to know what has worked for other people!

You can do anything you put your mind to. Just don’t take more than a couple of classes at once perhaps. I worked a full-time demanding banking job, took care of two kids, and went to school for my MBA at the same time. So happy I did.

Oh goodness, fair play to you!
Yeah I could definitely only focus on one at a time for sure

Are you able to do it during work? If not, I’m not a morning person, but I find it much easier to study before work than after.

I think some weeks I would be able to tbh yeah. I am the same. I’m not a morning person but I do feel most productive in the morning. Aka, I don’t like waking up early :D

I haven't had to study alongside a full time job, but I do have a side business. My biggest advice is that when you are working out your schedule, you also have to schedule rest. There is no recovering from burnout when you're going all-out for 60+ hours a week, so you have to make sure you don't burn out in the first place.

You might actually be superhuman. I feel tired just reading that 😂

I’ve been told my company is changing my title from Associate Director of BD to Sales Executive. I’m concerned it reads like a title demotion. Is it just semantics? How will this look for my career development? Curious about the standard perception of Sales Executive from a seniority perspective. Where does this land on the sales roles hierarchy? For context, it’s a professional services firm, I’ve been there 3+years, and they gave a Sales Executive title to someone who just started 5mo ago.

Hey all! I have an interview with
Deloitte in Regulatory Risk and more precisely in their Investment Management Services team. I would like to know if anyone
knows what the job entails exactly. I keep hearing about people "fooled" into taking a job in risk advisory thinking it'll really be advisory while they only end up doing IT and Audit support (which I do not want to do).
Is it the case here?
Thanks!

Does anyone know the salary of a beginner para planner at Ameriprise or any other broker-dealer?

Currently work in a very unique Wealth Management ops role.

Getting paid 85k base with 40k in bonus plus about 35k~ in OT.

Money isn’t everything but in my late 20s it feels like the only thing important right now.

WLB is next to zero as 60hr weeks are the minimum as of late. Management feels like they are trying to push a few of us out. Was told not to expect much come year end for comp. Any suggestions on finding a new role/pay expectations?
