That's a lot of interviews to go through every week! Ask a trusted mentor or friend to run through a practice interview with you so you can get a bit of feedback on your final round ones. Do you follow up after the final round?
Job hunting is frustrating and a difficult process at times, but hopefully there's just a minor adjustment for you to make to help you land your next position.
Hi! In data and our team has openings. Happy to help look at your resume / do practice runs if you want too
Messaged you!
check out this career influencer austin belcak. i tend to find these hustler types kind of grating, but his tips have helped me stand out in the application process. https://cultivatedculture.com/how-to-get-a-job-anywhere-no-connections/
my intuition is that you could be more passionate and more personalized in the application process-- austin belcak suggests doing something called a "value validation project" where you research the companys needs/goals, ask about it in interviews etc, then draft up some kind of proposal on how you'd solve it. yes, it is doing free work which sucks balls. but as a graphic designer i've done similar things that have really helped me stand out-- designing my resume to look like the company's style, making spec (free) work showing a brand refresh or social media content, etc. i'd recommend trying to go above and beyond like this if there's a company or 2 you're really interested in working for, since it's more of a quality vs quantity approach.
will ask a friend! I follow up the day of the interview and a week after the final round, but the recruiters either don’t respond or give a generic no reply rejection email.
Marketing analytics! I’m moving away from marketing, so applying to data focused roles (I.e. business analyst, data analyst)
I wasn’t good at it. My strong point is working with the data sources, building dashboards and troubleshooting.
OP, how many YOE do you have and what tools do you have experience with? My company is looking for an analytics manager with experience in GA.
3 yrs! I don’t think my experience is up to manager level yet.
PM me your resume and I’ll see if you might be a good fit. The analytics group within controllership is hiring like crazy
