I spoke to my HR partner on Friday - HR are meeting internally on the topic early this week. There wasn’t any heads up they received prior to the comms being distributed

So are we no longer being inclusive to other peoples backgrounds? Or was this email just indicating they aren’t going to be focusing on hiring more people that are from BAME, disabilities, LGBTQ groups?
Seems to be both. While chasing metrics never made sense (I'm from a target group and have to deal with the assumption that I'm only where I am because I tick the DEI box) however the programmes that look to provide additional support to level the playing field (accessibility, training, etc) should not be suspended and it seems to be the case here
