I haven't had this experience with a Reddit recruiter specifically, but I've just generally had the worst recruiter experiences over the last year. There's always some initial outreach on their end, I'll respond promptly, and then radio silence despite multiple follow-ups. It’s so annoying, I've learned to stop trusting them.
I think that experience isn't uncommon, though I wouldn't know about Reddit specifically. I get the sense that recruiters typically cast a very wide net but they only wind up working with a small number of people. And once you've been winnowed out, they feel they have no obligation to communicate with you, or even show common courtesy.
You do realize it's a scam and it's another way scammers can get your personal information
That's it! Discredit a senior IT individual for being dumb with a spam email and not the company who ghosted them. Not to mention that my internal Reddit referral also received the same email. Go away with your condescending response.
I feel that people treat you so differently now when it’s all online and impersonal. It was not that way when all interviews and applications were in person.
Not for this country
Wait, Reddit is also good for jobs?
