Dear Fishes, I am in a conundrum currently. I have two offers. One from Deloitte USI (17.5 LPA fixed, 1.75 LPA variable and 1.5 L joining bonus). The other is from Infosys (25 LPA CTC. Permanent WFH. Negotiation is still on for this.)
Could you please be so kind as to help me decide which one to choose?

Woah. To be clear I’m not just charging wildly through intersections. That *would* be horrible. I’m approaching, slowing to a near stop and if there is NO traffic? I go.
Consultant 1 — Very few cameras where I live. You seem reasonable. I don’t do anything out of the ordinary unless there are no cars within a block or more. Or at least half a block for cyclists. Pedestrians are on their own. (Not really, jeez)

Didn’t expect the violent disapproval. Curious if anyone here has ever had to negotiate an intersection with a stop sign? Or negotiate anything that required you to safely operate outside a rule or law.

Where I have my beach condo, there’s this one light you wait for while literally still on building property to get to the main avenue… and it takes forever. If there are no cars coming, I take the light.
But if it had a red light camera, I’d wait. Are there no red light cameras where you live?
