My purpose is the same everywhere and not dependent on where I work. I don’t think God is concerned with where I work. He’s concerned about who I am when I’m here.

I would recommend the book Garden City as well. Our purpose is to be a light in the darkness. No matter what job we do we need to do it to the best of our abilities as worship to the Lord, and be a model for those we interact with every day.

I recommend reading “Every Good Endeavor” by Tim Keller, great book to help find God’s purpose in our work.

This industry like any other is one that needs Christ. We're all called to ministry and to be a channel of blessing. Doing good. Being good, and relying on Christ to lead our lives in obedience is how we can steward the resources we are given. Being a good worker, being creative, creating margins at our workplace, they're all ways to reflect God and be a blessing..who would want to become a Christian if we're terrible workers? Daniel and his friends went to Babylon and were paragons of excellence while being culture makers. We can do the same in this industry. Blessings

Advertising was considered to be one of the most untrustworthy professions (being kind here) and I asked myself why here...and then I realized...

One of my friend was asked to resign because she got pregnant . They specifically told her that they have strict policies and need complete commitment and you are not fit for the current role owing to your health. They have a king rule from management side and treat their employees as daily wage labor . Very bad HR and management

Hi! So glad to find this bowl!
Today, I was looking through other bowls and see comments like: “Anyone tired of chasing money?” “Is it just me or as I get older do you realize how little awards and accolades mean?” And I’m reminded of how grateful I am to have my hope in something other than my work. I hope my coworkers see that in me, too. That I work hard but advertising is not what fulfills me.
