Anyone feel like their direct manager does not actually care for your growth? I often ask my manager for feedback/ways to better support the team. He praises my work ethic but doesn’t give me any real feedback/criticism. He also cancels our 1:1 frequently without any notice. There seems to be no roadmap for me to grow in this role.

What’s something a guy has said in a meeting you could never pull off as a woman? I’ll go. One time a guy creative was presenting his work and said “yeah this was just me being lazy and not wanting to do any work” and he literally suggested we do the same ads as last year, with a different celebrity plugged in. CDs in the meeting laughed and considered it for a minute. If I had presented that and said I was being lazy, I would prob be put on the chopping block.
