Anyone from the Threat Hunting service here?
My question simply put - how does your firm offer threat hunting to the clients? (For instance, X hours/week or X hunts/week etc.)

X hrs per week.

Just out of curiosity - do you think this model is ideal? How do you cope up in situations when some hunters might go on leaves?
I feel that X hours/week becomes a mandate to show a certain amount of hours as a hunt value. Given the nature of hunting, wouldn't X hunts/month be more viable way?
(Not opposing one method, just debating which one's better).

Based on the number of systems (servers, endpoints etc.,)
specified hunt (based on the client firm domain - banking/finance/pharma etc) or generic because the IOC changes
Hunt time - working hours or post working hours based on the systems being hunt

Here we provide one time hunting, quarterly and also based on client requests

IOC’s also changes based on the client request and requirement

Yes there will be no hours as the end points will be getting turned off and will be going out of network so hours aren’t counted here

Enrolled in Stern for a few weeks.
The number of the alumni and current students that go to top consulting firms FT& summer intern are countless even for a small class size.
Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)

Dubai people I live in Marquise Square tower and my neighbor is having a party literally every day till 4-5 in the morning- I spoke to him and he apologized and promised to keep it quiet but he didn’t. Is that normal or should they give me a noise compliance and force him to stay quiet after some time.

Is it too late in our lives to jump into a mortgage?

So my fiancée and I are relatively late in terms of finally landing well paying jobs and being able to save money instead of living paycheck to paycheck. We’re both 36 and currently rent a 2 bedroom in NY and have a combined savings of $35,000 which she wants to use as a down payment on a condo. I kinda just wanna continue saving while renting. I also literally just started contributing to my 401K so I’m also late in the game for that too.

Anyone have a good online calculator or way to adjust their W-4 towards the end of the year so they don’t get slammed with a high tax bill? I know I’m too late for 2020, but curious for next year...I got slapped with a 6-figure tax bill last year. 😑 My wife and I made adjustments to our 2020 W-4s, but afraid it wasn’t enough.
