I'm having a hard time getting my team to accept that I'm the boss. They keep trying to tell me what to do, and it's really starting to get on my nerves.

You want to be a boss or to be a leader

I get a lot of that too. It happens especially when you’re new or young. Some people seem to warm up with time while others will always have a bit of animosity towards any authority.
Ultimately what it boils down to is that you have to take it with a grain of salt. If their behavior is starting to affect the quality if your work you have a few options of how to handle it, however it would be best for you to focus more on your reactions rather than their responses. If you allow yourself to hear their jeers and politely correct them, or set it straight— then you’re golden. However if you’re still finding this to be challenging I would set up one on one meetings to address the problem or potentially speak to supervisors.

Manager / lead is a role supporting the team, not an opportunity to ‘boss’ people around.

High performing teams operate on open communication, direction and feedback. Maybe take your I’m the boss hat off and work with the team to meet the organizational goals.

I don’t want to stay at Amazon until May 23 because will miss the trip with my new company and not have any time off in between jobs (I’m burnout).

One thing I keep having to remind myself is that career mobility is higher than ever. Have gotten several offers at this point from companies that I "kind of like", and have been holding out for the dream companies. But I should probably just take a solid offer elsewhere. It would give me a foundation to build up skills and experience, and continuously applying for jobs while having a solid job is probably a lot less stressful than needing the perfect job before I graduate my MS degree in 2 mo.
