The amount of teamwork required really shocked me. My introverted self was not prepared for that.

I had the misconception that people in this field would not work well with their peers. Like they would be unsocialized and not able to carry on a conversation about anything other than work. Pleasantly surprised

I thought there would be some point where I would have learned all I could about electrical systems, but now I can't believe I ever thought that. The field is so rapidly evolving that it's hard to keep up with. So it's kind of like being in university for the rest of my life

I have have been looking to pivot into a more impactful role this year. I am due for an interview for a Product Manager next week. The company ticks all my boxes but the job description a bit vague. I will be grateful if anybody willing to share what the day role looks like and what I need to look out for in an interview. Thanks. Cheers.

Hey Cyber friends! I’m a life long professional creative looking to get out. I’m fascinated by Cybersec/Infosec and have been learning a small amount. Tryhackme + YouTube + beginning to learn some python. However, I’m well aware that these baby steps don’t compare to the real job.

My questions: do you like what you do? Would you recommend the field or your discipline to a friend? What is the best and worst part of your job? Grateful for any and all responses. Thanks for letting me lurk! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I've been working as a Junior Analog Design Engineer for a year and half.
I received a proposal for a Senior Analog Designer role from Bosch in the same city where I am currently working.
