Anyone have a reMarkable tablet or something similar? Do you love it? My husband teaches and is obsessed with the idea having of a digital note pad device, but I’ve read mixed reviews and am not sure it’s worth the money.

Ipad Pro + Zoom is money for whiteboarding remote. I'm not a fan of using it for notes

I have a reMarkable 1 and I use it all the time. I wanted to get away from buying paper notebooks and having different notebooks for different purposes.

For work I transitioned to taking all my notes via keyboard in OneNote. For brainstorming I still do best with a pen and my reMarkable comes in handy for that. I've used it to draw initial flowcharts and system layouts.

I also use the reMarkable for journaling, creative writing, and taking school notes.

I like that it's a specific use tablet so that I am not distracted by news or games when I am using it.

I am a Chartered accountant and truth be told given the current times CA is a really low incentive education any potent person can get. Today I see engineers barely with a few years of experience earning lakhs per month. Whereas me despite being in the right place at the right time is working hard 10-11 hours each day even today. We as a forebearers of this profession must really rise together

So, this is a little awkward, but I recently moved to SD for a fresh start, and honestly, I love this city. My problem is I have been more of a homebody since I moved here and I'm a little intimidated to go out and meet people because I don't feel like I fit in here. I am overweight and this city is full of active, and attractive people. I guess I am wondering what my experience would be if I got out more? I feel like people look at me when I'm in public because I stand out due to my size.

I know this sounds weird, but I think my fiancé has my tech tapped… I journal and write short stories that I’ve used as an outlet for years. Way before I met him. Lately, it feels like he repeats things that I’ve written or said over the phone. For example, I’ll tell a friend that I want to visit her in San Diego. Then, he’ll come home and say I should visit my friend in San Diego soon. Am I paranoid or is he really listening? I feel violated and exposed. He doesn’t have a tech background.
