Based out of Seattle. I can count on 1 hand the number of times I’ve been into the office in the past 4 years.

It's almost always wfh unless you need to visit a client site

Remote unless you need to be onsite at the client, depends on your project.

Wife worked for them for 16 years and wasn't customer facing... in the almost 10 years we've been together, she visited Seattle twice I think... if that.. otherwise it was WFH. Then she got swept up in those internal layoffs a little less than 2 years ago...

I joined fishbowl a month ago and while I’ve seen a couple contentious debates but I must say I’m pleasantly surprised at how respectfully ppl comment on this app even when disagreeing. Usually anonymity on the internet brings out the absolute worst in ppl; they type things anonymously that they would NEVER say in person smh. But I really haven’t seen horrible comments here. I wonder what makes this app diff frm others?

It’s been 3 years since I (27F) moved to Seattle and still don’t have a solid social circle. Not necessarily a big group… I’m talking 3-4 friends who are easy going and not flakey/ hard to make plans with.

Idk if it’s due to Covid, Seattle freeze, a combination of the two or other factors. Any transplants out there who are NOT the outdoorsy type and feel the same? And if so, how did you get past it?
