The headline should read “Why do Washington State drivers suck so much at driving”
All the people from aggressive driving cities brought their aggressive driving tactics to Seattle, which has (had) polite-to-a-fault drivers.
I see people driving slow compared to other states. Yet to come across aggressive driving myself.
Yeah, what's your reference point? I just took a trip to Texas and felt like they were extra aggressive. I get the same vibe in CA.
Definitely see it in pockets here. I came from LA and nothing like the 405 up here but Bellevue and parts of Seattle definitely could give LA a solid run for their money. People just need to relax! It’s actually been sunny this week 🤣🤣
As a pedestrian, I encounter this daily. People are just so aggressive and not careful at all. My partner nearly got run down the other day by a truck turning right on a red (allowed, but it’s their job to be careful!). She was not jaywalking but was crossing on a green, btw.
Driving on i405 has gotten terrible within the last 5 years. I really blame it on the new residents.
The 405 has nothing to do with the new resident drivers and everything to do with it being a tiny freeway with 10x the traffic that it was designed to accommodate.
You really think its bad here? I have lived in places like Boston and Chicago so I guess I feel as though it is not that bad haha.
Not anywhere near as aggressive as New Mexico.
Prolly a city vs suburb thing. Things are more hectic in cities while burbs are chill. Compared to other cities’ driving, it’s similar.
