Well leadership is split between denver and co springs and they have to travel down there a lot. They’ve made lots of moves the cco level in the past several years. Not sure how it’s going for them right now; they haven’t been in the news for a bit.
They’re just kind of another place around here in my opinion. They’ve never really done any signature work, they’ve never really had any noteworthy creative leader, it seems like kind of a revolving door up top, and they are not really killing it creatively right now, as far as I can tell (Madwell and Cactus seemed to be bigger in the recent local awards show, the 50). But they’ve been around for a long time, seem stable, the woman who runs the place has always seemed very sharp and nice, but I don’t know that much about the inner workings, honestly.
I’ve never known or heard of a single chief creative officer or even executive creative director they have ever had. Not that a “big-name“ is always the answer, but they just seem like a solid local/regional shop, with people who are nice, that do marginal, passable creative.
Pretty good place. Their CD Jim Morrissey is a good dude.
Best boss you’ll ever have.
I hear VJ’s pretty toxic. Sounds like the entire creative team turned over in the last year or so.
I doubt it’s toxic. I knew/know a handful of them including the ecd and they and super nice people
Yes Jim has always seemed nice though I've never met him, and Meredith has always been nice too. Aside from that, couldn't name a single piece of work they've ever done and I've been in this market for almost 20 years.
