My doc didn’t diagnose me with that but I did have low AMH.
She had me follow Mediterranean diet; we focused on quality of eggs not quantity because that wasn’t going to change
Had me read it starts with the egg (I recommend it) so a lot of my habits changed due to reading that book. I added vitamin d, b12 and c to my list
Currently pregnant with twins via IUI on the third try. I also tried IVF first and which was unsuccessful.
I paused for a couple months, nothing too long and it seemed to make a difference. Number of eggs didn’t change but at least they were able to fertilize this time. Just surprised that 2 did given past experience
Me 35 , 5 years trying to get pregnant with deep infiltrating endometriosis 6 IUIs and 3 IVF and 1 surgery and finally pregnant for first time.
Basically my 6 IUI and 2 IVF rounds were through public healthcare system in my country of residence and even though I already had Endo diagnosis since 23years old I was gaslighted that my Endo was not serious enough to be a major factor.
I went abroad to a private fertility clinic they basically referred me to a top Endo specialist in the country. Basically I was stage 4 or also known as deep infiltrating endometriosis he basically said that via ultrasound and MRI it was clear I had what they call frozen pelvis where all my reproductive organs were glued together along with intestines and ureters. So I had a laparoscopy surgery (my AMH was already low 1.2 and given all my previous retrievals in my case freezing eggs before surgery was not advised). I got the surgery super successful they removed as much as they could without damaging my ovaries. My AMH only dropped to 1.0. I had a quick recovery and tried to get pregnant naturally for first 6 months.
I did another round of IVF at a clinic that has experience with Endo patients and got my miracle baby. I was considering egg donation but we had one strong embryo that stuck.
Like I changed a lot of my lifestyle, throughout the years, gluten free, low inflammatory diet, supplements (NAC, vitamin D, omega 3, prenatals, the list goes on). Regular exercise. Therapy. Massage. Yoga. Acupuncture. Osteopath... Ditched plastics and perfumes... Many things I stuck with for years others not so much, but overall I have a very healthy lifestyle. But a lot can drive you insane (hence the therapy). I think there is a lot of credit in some lifestyle changes for sure (regular exercise and healthy diet are my top 2), but in the end I attribute success to finding the right Endo specialist and working with a fertility clinic with real Endo experience.
This is super helpful. Would you mind sharing the endo clinic or doc you went to? It’s hard to find a good endo specialized doc
