I had a good experience. I’d recommend them if you are looking for more options. I have not compared them with other clinics tho, I went with them because they were in-network and close by.
Hi OP, which clinic in the Bay Area is your preferred and why?
Initially it was because RSC was in network. We honestly thought we’d just be doing IUIs but then we realized my fertility wasn’t the slightest bit of normal at my age. For this reason, we weren’t really looking at stats as we didn’t anticipate IVF until later.
While we were at RSC, Spring Oakland opened up. After a traumatic IUI with RSC, we started shopping around and made an appointment with Spring. We googled the dr we had an appointment with, and she has an amazing reputation. We kind of lucked out there.
Honestly, most of these docs and clinics are the same if you’re not gay and having to deal with lawyers and psychiatrists and a subjective clinic director. However, Dr. Minjarez will pivot your needs according to your results and how your body responds. That’s why we followed her to Santa Barbara.
I’d go with your gut and where you think you’ll get the best patient experience. It’s really important to have a responsive team because there will be questions around meds and your schedule. It’s a huge process and emotionally you shouldn’t be holding the bag for any clinic’s lack of attention.
