Anyone here negotiated an equity package with Series B stage startups? Currently in the final round of the interview process with a Series B stage startup and not sure what a realistic expectation for equity is or how to negotiate it higher. Anyone have any insight they could offer me?

I’m an MBA with 1.5 YOE. Signed with PwC as Exp. associate in Deals-Valuation starting in June 2022, Philly office. Initial offer was 79k and I got email about 5% bump… does anybody know if I’ll be getting the additional 10%?

We are a firm of 5 transactional attorneys and the bonus structure is very unclear. The usual “based on personal performance and firm profitability” language. I wonder how this is calculated in general. What is the percentage bracket of the bonus? Assume it is a high performance 9+ year attorney and the firm is profitable (even with COVID). The based salary is low $120k. Firm is in Tx. I’d love to hear your comments.

I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I originally wanted a director level role to set the strategy, process, and tools.

Instead I am just being asked to develop the tools.

My hypothesis is a clear lack of strategy and no accountability for process compliance will mean any tools developed will fail.
