Deloitte, having learned from their 2020 debacle, are reducing headcount in bits and pieces, via real or made up "performance" management.
And if you think Deloitte doesn't make up performance issues where none exist, let's talk about this bridge I have to sell you.
The partner responses on this thread are insane but not surprising. Its honestly impressive how deceitful these “leaders” are. Deloitte has always been obsessed with top line growth above all else, compared to even their big 4 competitors. How they’ve built out their garbage climate change teams is proof.
Everyone in the industry knows they have the weakest fundamentals and are most susceptible to downturns.
P1 - hahaha you really should stop replying, this is a terrible look for Deloitte partners and the firm.
Apparently a whole team (25-30 people) of deloitte digital have been let go last Friday … just after our CEO mentioned on a Q&A on Thursday that there will be no further redundancies

Yes. Learn from the Partners. Don't share it here; just live stream the meeting to AFR like the Partner Meeting at Sydney in 2019, followed promptly by leaking Deutsch‘s email to all Partners expressing his disappointment.
We are tackling thru performance management not redundancy
A euphemism for bullying people out without having to pay their mandated redundancy.
I'm actually surprised a Partner is that transparent about what Performance Management is really about. Kudos.

Why not? Sunshine is a great disinfectant. And parts of Deloitte's culture could use some.
