Progressive is hiring for claims! They are very enthusiastic about you enjoying what you are doing!
Yes I went into claims and I think I am
Burnt out on this end as well.
It can be stressful
Burnout is real! Salesperson mentality would probably make you successful in a lot of different non sales roles in my opinion
I was the same way! I sold for Allstate for a year and the Liberty Mutual for almost 8 years. I just took an account manager position at USI so I could get some more experience on the other side and take a break from the burn out!
Not at all. What you need to do is take some personality tests to see where you'd be a good fit at. And do some research on behind the scenes jobs that aren't customer facing. There are hirings all over do the shortness of workers, you will bounce back.
RIp to your Grandmother, sorry Allstate didn't let you grieve.
Maybe try being a paralegal at an insurance defense firm!
No your are not locked into it forever never think that. Find something that won’t be a normal job that you will enjoy. “Love what you do and never work a day in your life”
I feel like most people heading these organizations are so full of themselves that they forget to see people as people. I was a decent producer for the past few years at my insurance company but since a few things changed in my personal life my managers started to follow me with so much toxicity everyday that I don’t even know what I can do to be enthusiastic about my job. All I receive is criticism, harsh words, and hatred. Burnout is real… I am at the same spot where I don’t know what to do regarding it mainly because of all my hard work in the past few years and letting go of my renewals just really pains me
Try underwriting. I work as an commercial auto underwriting at Intact and I am happy with my job and my company
Look into Nationwide. They’ll listen and help you move into something other than sales.
Go to claims there is so many jobs out there and most companies pay well
Claims will burn you up.
Sorry this happened to you. Burnout is real. I’m experiencing it. Looking to leave the industry. I hear progressive is hiring .. all the best
