I work in insurance. I was working for an Allstate agent and was fired the day after my grandmothers funeral for being “unenthusiastic in our morning meeting”. Now I’m having anxiety searching for a job. I don’t think I want to sell anymore yet every single recruiter I interview with says I should, that I have a “salesperson mentality”. I’m burnt out. Has anyone else felt this way? How did handle it? Is there a different career path I can take or am I destined to sell insurance forever?

I wanted to get people's opinions on leetcode, codewars etc when prepping for interviews. I am a junior full stack dev looking to move to a better paying junior role or a mid role and honestly these style of questions have always stumped me. I have found that in a year of work to have never found them useful in tackling real world issues. Now I'm moving from a junior to a mid can I still expect leetcode style questions?

My parent has a star health policy for which the renewal premium is drastically increasing (almost by 50%) every year at age 51.

Question! I just moved(transferred) to another team of my company and received new title, graphic & creative services. I was a senior graphic designer at the previous team. What do you think about my new title? When an organization is not adequately staffed, be sure increase the number of meetings to address how to allocate people. Forcing negotiations at multiple org levels around the same decisions will ensure everyone is totally aligned.

This accomplishes three things:
1) Everyone is mad at each other since they’re competing for people
2) They’re confused and not able to pay attention to the root issue of chronic under staffing
3) They’re distracted from blaming mgmt for the root cause.

Received a job offer. Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on a concern I had about it. It's an entry level position, and I don't have much experience. The billables are 2040 a year. For billable hours in civil litigation and insurance defense, is 2040 hours for a 1st year associate on the high end in this field for a small or midsize firm? It seems like most attorneys I know have minimum requirements of around 1800. The compensation is around 80k a year.
