It’s actually quite bad. There’s no work-life balance, and a lot of office politics. If you don’t speak Hindi, you’re treated poorly. Senior staff feel they can say anything they like and get away with it.

Many people have either been fired or pressured to leave for speaking up. A senior manager once told me, “Other companies are firing people; we’re giving you a hike—just take it.”

If you’re an average developer from a tier-1 college, they’ll offer you a heavy package and treat you well. But if you’re a genuinely skilled developer from a tier-2 or lower college, they’ll treat you like you don’t matter.
