At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I am currently working as a Data Science Analyst in Amex and would like to make a switch to Fraud detection/Credit risk modelling in future.(not in a hurry but would like to start preparing for the same)
How should I go about preparing for it? Is MBA the only course?
My current tech stack is Python, Pyspark, Hive, SQL, ML, DL(specifically NLP based). I have already done MS in CS from IIT Kgp.
I am confused mainly cause the tech stack requirement is similar to my role in the company.

So my FAR passing grade expires in November and I am taking my last section BEC in October but won’t get the grade till December after my FAR grade expires. I won’t have to retake FAR will I?

Outside counsel has been prepping company witnesses for a trial in August. It is my subject area so I am supervising outside counsel. I did not, however, choose the counsel. He is doing a really awful job. Co counsel is better, but not great either. Higher ups love the firm… I do not want to micromanage, but I have genuine concerns about outside counsel’s ability to try this case. Trials are rare, and I just don’t think these guys have actually tried many cases. Cont. below…
