Thoughts on getting fed government jobs? I'm a first year associate in a specialized transaction group in DC and I fucking hate it. I had an internship at a federal department in school but after that went 2L SA/firm. Any hope of finding something? It seems like most Enterprise SE roles are senior, lead or principal and SMB has more associate, SE, senior…at least what I have seen from open roles. Is the observation accurate?

For associates who have lateraled in the last 6 months or so, what made you decide to move? Has your situation improved since moving? I’m a transactional mid-level & I’ve interviewed with some great firms recently. I’m struggling to get excited though…it just seems like no matter where I go I’ll be overworked & under appreciated. Hoping there are some positive stories out there to give me hope. Haha

Most of what I am hearing is related to audience targeting (privacy issues) and conversion measurement (specifically attributing advertising to brick-and-mortar bottom line).
