Tax season, and I just noticed I have a household income of $700K. Guess how much we've saved? $0!!! $300K goes to tax - thanks to CA $60K goes to housing mortage, HOA, and tax $15K goes to travel & vacation $10K goes to BTS... Where did the rest of money go? NO IDEA... Looks like just dining and grocery stuff. I don't have even have kids, didn't buy any luxury brands last year.

I am a Analyst in my 30’s and everyone else that I work with that is a Analyst is in their 20’s fresh out of school. Have had setbacks in my career but trying to just stay optimistic and know that I will have better opportunities. I can’t help but feel embarrassed at times because of my age and the position I am in.

I had a realization of how privileged we all are. I hate the caste system we all play between firms. Yes some people make more money at different firms but at the end of the day, everyone here is well above the median income and can provide for a family and have a good life. Blessed for that
