Anyone use snowflake (or other cloud based databases…)? I am curious about typical annual usage cost per analyst. I work for a publicly traded tech company and DB management teams have recently throttled our warehouse sizes. I am concerned that the cost savings comes at the expense of productivity (due to long run times) but being on the analytics side, I don’t have visibility to typical usage cost or savings.

Should I leave my company? Been here 1.5 years and was told I was getting a management promotion 5-6 months ago.Still no solid traction and they are opening up a req for it 😑no one on the current sales team has ever been promoted (2 years)except our boss who has been promoted 3 times. We hit quote every month/q/year by a lot. I have several offers at double my OTE. Already asked what the timeline is for a new manager and I was told soon and I'm "up for consideration." I recently moved from a big4 to another and I'm still on my probation period. I'm looking to move out to industry and need your help with the following:

1. What should I tell to the interviewer, if he asks why am I looking to move out of a firm within a month?
2. What should I tell to my existing firm? If they ask me a reason for moving out?

Occupational therapists/physical therapists/SLP, what is a good pay per billable hour/pay per unit? Transitioning from a mental health salary of 70k and looking to at least match that, preferably go higher but not sure how to calculate that.

Quick survey: Do you guys think having a template package to envelope an ML model as an application would be helpful. The package could contain boiler plate template for unit test, docker image, CI/CD, database connectors etc and act as a starting point for doing that. Tech firms usually have that internally but limited options in open source.
