Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

To interviewer say, I was not really looking for a change but this opportunity came along and I found the role intresting so thought of checking. In the current org just drop a mail to you manager saying I found better opportunity and resign no one really cares peple come and go don't thing too much about this.
Thank you
You'll have to give us more context - Why do you REALLY want to go?
1. WLB depends on the definition - everyone seems to understand it differently. If you aren't okay with 10-12 hours of workload, then I suggest you leave Consulting and move to Industry OR find a way to get the same workload done within 9 hours.
2. Not sure what made you think this, it's the other way round - In Consulting you get the end to end view, in Industry you'll be performing one role in one domain in one specific sector for your entire tenure there.
3. Consulting always had more professional perks and paid more than Industry, again not sure where/how you had this perception.
