Got an offer for a sales applications manager role at Cisco and a Strategic AE role at Amazon - both are basically the same pay (130~ base, 220 OTE)
I don’t have any friends at either company so I was curious if anyone has experience and can shed some light on culture/ work life balance to help me make a decision? Thanks for the help guys!
I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.

Leave 100% and tell em to screw themselves otw out
Leave, especially if you’re getting offers at 2x. Moving companies is usually the only thing that will get you a significant pay bump. If you get promoted I doubt it’ll be 2x your OTE at your current company.
If you want the title and are willing to stay let them know about your offers and terms to keep you. That usually moves things along a lot faster.
I have no real insight on that. But I can imagine that they would do that for certain people. Idk which politics are driving this. We are not a huge company also. I can't really make the company any more money so they would need to give me the actual promo.
OP, my experience says if you don’t have the momentum, it’s difficult to get promoted. If you feel a lull in your case for a long time, better explore external opportunities
