Anyone using computers daily for work knows how frustrating software crashes can be. As a call centre agent, I work across multiple screens, and one of our main programs is the worst. It crashes often and takes forever to load again. Yet, we’re expected to maintain strict handling times. How is that fair? Maybe the company should fix its own systems before setting high expectations for us. At the very least, give us reliable tools to do our job properly.

Its not fair at all. Believe me, I understand. The same thing happens regularly at my work. The power goes out a lot and things have to restart and reset and it takes forever.

I got an email last night from a 7th-grade parent because her son said I mentioned the words "male privilege" in class, and she is very concerned about how that is related to ELA (she said "reading"), and she is concerned about this being taught in public schools. To be clear, I didn't do a lesson on this subject but we did discuss rights versus privileges. I've had multiple parents contact the school/get upset with me because of things like his. It's exhausting... Thoughts?

In my company Total CTC = CTC + Gratuity + Insurance.

He then asked where the change was, and when I explained that I didn't give back the loose change, he made a big stink about how dollars and cents matter and didn't leave me a tip. Back when I was getting started in the food world, I worked flipping burgers at In-n-Out. A man came in and said the burgers he had gotten weren’t right. He dumped the food on the counter and then he started throwing them back behind the counter. We gave him a refund and then his demeanor completely changed. He was calmer and he told us to have a great day as he left us to clean up the mess he made.

I had customers tell me how amazing the salads I make for them. It’s great that I can make salads that good!

At a different job I had a customer trying to swindle me in telling me that there was a deal in an item that never had a deal or promotion for sale so he made me scan the item 20 times before believing me. Obviously, he finally let it go but I scan it with an inventory scanner that showed me all of the sale price promotions if there were any
