In my opinion, it's an easy way to include a few more keywords and differentiate myself from other applicants. I always use the same cover letter so it doesn't really take any more time or effort once it's already drafted. And I used AI for mine because they are probably going to use AI to read it 😆
I read cover letters. With Ai or not, you need to describe why you are the best for that job and that company.
I don't understand the point of using AI for a cover letter. It's an opportunity to highlight things that may not be obvious in your resume, and to show some personality or sense of humor. When you've got a chance to stand out, I don't understand the point of handing the job over to a soulless AI tool.

From all the people I've seen talk about it, not many people are reading cover letters but if you still want to include one, I feel like an AI-assisted one should suffice
There's a willingness to do as they say and format yourself exactly as they wish.
Theyre hiring less about talent and intelligent design. More about loyalty to the "brand".
Yes your route needs to be exactly like the format wants. Or you won't even make it to the next round.
