1. What is your yearly billable requirement?
2. How many of those hours (if any) can be qualified non-billables (pro bono, etc)?
3. Did Hogan Lovells offer special bonus the last two years?
4. Does Hogan Lovells offer an extra bonus if you bill over a certain amount (CWT offers 1.2x your bonus if you have over 2200 client billable hours, not including qualified non-billables).

I’m have a new theory about why juniors always feel like idiots and wanted to see if anyone else thinks this makes sense. I’m a third year, and am the most junior person all of my teams (generally me, a senior or two, and a partner or two), and I always feel like I’m messing something up. Is this just because I never get to work with other juniors and don’t see the mistakes they make, and that it’s relatively normal? And FWIW I went to HYS and I’ve had a clerkship so it’s not like I’m not smart

Is there a corporate way to bring up to senior leaders that an IC is causing issues across multiple teams because they are demanding and also doesn’t collaborate well? The IC gives vague “direction” then says they are too busy to clarify. They also refuse to use our project management/ collaboration tools.

First time moving out, is it normal for a landlord to ask for rent to be paid in cash? Any thing I should be wary of? Thank you!

what is the pay range for role - manager 1 assurance at pwc sdc kolkata?i have 6.5 yoe and joined at 21lpa + 10% vp, four months back. managers from other big 4 start around 28lpa. does sdc kolkata pay m1 this much only or have they underpaid me? i am considering dropping paper and looking out again.

My fiancé will NOT stop talking about her ex. After I found out they were texting arguing she justified it by saying it was about the dogs and not them. Even though Her social media is full of his pics. She still sends him $50 a month for dog food, still goes to work right by his place and suspiciously needs keys. Is an offer after only a first screener a red flag?

From a vault ranking perspective, is it safe to assume V100 is all sweatshop big law? Reason I ask is because I want to lateral but not to a gunning big law firm — want to stay in big law but not at the ones at the top of the food chain like I am now. I’m debating to join Locke Lord Dallas in transactional. I’m looking to stay at the firm long term and would appreciate any information y’all have. Please be as candid as possible.

I have ADD and occasionally make small mistakes in my work, like leaving a word missing when editing sentences, small formatting errors or leaving an internal comment in drafts sent to clients. All partners have been very understanding and care about the quality of my work, and no client has ever complained. Partners and clients praise my work.

But now, one partner has become super mad and when I explained ADD, he said:

Anyone have slow months where you burn through a lot of your allotted pro bono/professional development hours to keep hitting minimum daily hours? The past few weeks have been like this for me. Should I be concerned (I.e., will this reflect poorly on me, come review time? Will I have dug myself too much of a hole if I keep burning my non-billable hours?) I’ve been asking partners if I can assist in any projects so I can fill my plate, but I’ve only gotten small (4-6 hour) tasks handed my way.
