I was at Huron implementation work for healthcare clients then jumped to Accenture for tech and industry agnostic experience and now I want to get back into healthcare. My background is operations mgmt I enjoy working with tech but don’t need to be in tech, operations is what speaks to me. Not sure on what’s my next move.

Hello fellow fishes, currently I am working as an Information Security Consultant and wanted to switch my career into Cloud Security.

I have around 6+ years of experience in Information Security which includes ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2 and PCI DSS.
I have also done some cloud certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-500, AWS Specialty Security and currently preparing for CCSK and CCSP.
Can anyone provide with any suggestions through which I can switch my career.

I’ve done PI work my entire career for over 10 years. I’ve worked in state and federal courts and I’ve traveled around the country doing MDL work and bellwether trials. I’ve had a lot of success making the idiots I’ve worked for wealthy, but I’m still waiting for a moment where I enjoy what I’m doing. I feel stuck working in dysfunctional plaintiff firms/cultures. I hate this profession/career more and more each year. Has anybody been successful breaking off on their own in recent years? Advice?
