Additional Posts in Life Sciences Consulting
What types of projects/solutions does Oliver Wyman Life Sciences Consulting (post acquisition of Huron’s practice) practice offer? How do they compare (project types, WLB,etc.) to LS consulting at firms like L.E.K. Consulting, ClearView Healthcare Partners, ZS Associates etc.?
Looking to make a transition from compensation/human capital strategy consulting to LS consulting. Have an undergraduate degree in Biology, Finance, and Econ and 1.5 YOE in consulting. Any advice much appreciated!
Hi!! I’ve spent the last four months trying to land a job as a healthcare analyst/consultant and I’ve not been successful thus far. I’m a published author of two manuscripts at ACS, have experience in both clinical and basic science research, have worked in the field as a EMT and have many other experiences that will allow me excel. I’ve applied to @LEK ZS Associates Mercer and many more companies. Id so appreciate anyones help in this process. Thank you in advance!!

lol, i’m 36 starting my second masters this fall at JHU. Late? I don’t know, I don’t care actually. It’s going to help me in my work- so that’s good enough for me.
Masters? No
MBA is a bit more difficult
I would highly suggest doing a masters part time / virtually, I did mine that way and saved thousands (not to mention I didn’t lose income...)
@SA1 Agreed the optimal time to get an MBA is around ~24-26 if you're optimizing for ROI. Many consultants hit post-MBA salaries in 3-5 years after undergrad.
Masters? No.
Doctorate? Probably... highly person dependent.
