Yeah one of our teams used“AI Content Strategist"recently. For applicants, I want folks who can blend creativity with data smarts: prompt engineering, basic coding, and mastering tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, or Tableau. Hands-on practice with these platforms and staying curious about AI’s evolving role in marketing.
Love this! What industry do you work in if you don't mind me asking?
I remember last year people were talking about how titles like Prompt Engineer would become common. But I don't think I've seen anyone actually have a job title that relates to AI. Which makes sense, I guess. It's all so new. And people are trying to figure out how to incorporate AI into their job, so it hasn't really become a job title of its own, at least not yet.
I feel like this is spot on - I just watched an entire webinar about creative strategists (also a newer job title) already evolving into a creative strategist prompt engineer title. Very interesting! I can see titles evolving to include prompt engineering responsibilities specific to their role
I think that AI is kinda a buzzword that can take on many meanings, so make sure to gain clarity when interviewing!
Agree!! I feel like job recruiters use it to gain visibility but don't actually know what it entails. AI can have many different meanings or use cases which is why I feel the need to understand what they are actually looking for when they say "AI"
This is a great question! It’s evolving so fast. Haven’t hired anyone in the past few months, but I am interested in what AI skills hiring managers are looking for in digital marketing roles?
Me too! I think I would be way more encouraged to learn about AI use applications if I had a better grasp on solid application case studies or job requirements. Although we are so early in this technology I fear we are still in the "development" stages of AI and how they can be the most beneficial. But looking at large brands with lots of $$$ I'm sure there are a few out there that have started to roll out full AI processes & established procedures

In UX, we’ve been using it before it became a buzzword. AI is fast at working through your ideas and more mundane tasks. I look for people who understand that and personally focus on more creative solutions. Examples of those ideas get them hired. No, we aren’t creating titles right now.
