Anyone working as Patient Recruitment Assistant?
I've had a hybrid role for the past 4 years where I get unlimited sick days (well 14 really until fmla kicked in), 3 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days. I am also given the week after Xmas off. if my toddlers are sick I can work at home with them. Interviewing w fortune 500 that offers 15 pto days that have to use for sick days too.Strictly in office job 9-5 and dress bus.prof. These bad benefits? Outdated culture?I am a seasoned professional. Seems tough.

Hi, I'm that person. We are required to go in 2 days a week, and I think I was last in about 3 weeks ago. Lots of coworkers are the same as me and management seems to have no interest in enforcing the rule. I have no idea why we have it in the first place.
The same situation happened on my team. I used to show up for the three days, and most of the crew ghosted it. Makes you wonder if leadership even notices. Hybrid policies sound good on paper, but without accountability, they’re just suggestions. Either call it out or update the policy to reflect reality. Pretending it’s working when it’s not just builds resentment. Has anyone looked at what those in-office days are actually delivering?
Not everyone follows the rules about this. I do. They do track badge scans so they know who is and isn’t doing it but at least in my dept, when the big boss feels someone is abusing it we get a reminder email about the policy. It’s like come on, just have a one-on-one with the people abusing it. The email reminders do nothing!
same here - required to go in 2 days a week but i think they just show up once as well for the most part. when i’m in it’s been quite dead…
Small firm of about 70 people total. For the staff, there is a schedule on the intranet showing which days each person is remote and which days they are in. For attorneys, the partners come in when it works for them and they are not in trial, and same for counsel. Associate attorneys are expected to be in more regularly, but there's no schedule for them on the intranet. The staff do stick to the days stated on the schedule.
All of us are. I don't understand how people can get away with doing this. I would be in big trouble if I just didn't show up on a scheduled in office day.
Nope, I feel like I am one of the only people who follow it. Several people have been talked to about their in person attendance but nothing is really being done. People just kind of do what they want to do.
Most of my colleagues do. We’re all too scared
