Should be what you did together. I wouldn’t put anything I personally didn’t contribute to.
Even as a team you should both have separate books. If you worked on something alone, add it to your book. There is no combo book.
Depends on your comfort level and if your partner is ok with it. Anything you put in your book is an example of what you can do. I wouldn’t put anything in mine that might communicate a skill that I don’t have or not want to really promote.
If you are looking for a job as a team but haven't produced a lot together ok to put the best work of each of you, but definitely the mote stuff you did as a team the better. I would keep a separated portfolio for each of you and make a password protected for the team to sell yourselves for recruiters and cds. i did that before.
I still have a joint book. Always have.
You can. But just be upfront during your interview
@AD2 tell that to some of the most sought after and award winning cd and senior teams I’ve worked with. Joint books show harmony. There’s nothing wrong with one.
There’s nothing wrong with a join book to land your first gig. But get your own book after that. It won’t harm you to have a joint one, but there are going to be things you want t to put in your book as an AD that your writer won’t want and vice versa. Or maybe even stuff you didn’t work on together at all.
